HYPEROBJECTS ARE BODY EXTENSIONS BORN TO RECONNECT THE HUMAN TO THE NON-HUMAN. THEY IMPLEMENT A NEW WAY OF KNOWING AND PERCEIVING REALITY, STRETCHING TOWARD A HYBRID EPISTEMOLOGY.

HYPEROBJECTS REPRESENT THE ATTEMPT TO MAKE VISIBLE WHAT IS INVISIBLE, TANGIBLE WHAT IS INTANGIBLE, BY DISPLAYING THE UBIQUITOUS STRUCTURES OF REALITY.

HYPEROBJECTS ARE SIMULATIONS GENERATED INTO COMPUTATIONAL SOFTWARE. THE HYPERTEXTS OF MATTER ARE REVEALED IN ITS MATHEMATICAL SYNTHESYS.

IN BIOMORPHIC-FUTURISM WE TRUST

HYPEROBJECTS ARE ATTUNED WITH THE SHIFT TO AN ECOLOGICAL CONSCIOUSNESS, AIMING AT REVERSING THE ANTHROPOCENTRIC UNDERSTANDING OF SEEMINGLY INANIMATE BODIES.

WE ARE SETTING UP A NEW CULTURE, ABLE TO AWAKEN US FROM THE ILLUSION OF SEPARATION.

THE MAKING OF SUCH CULTURE IS LINKED TO THE ACTION OF FIGURATION, TO
THE POSSIBILITY OF A NEW, RADICAL VISIBILITY.
CHANGE RESTS ON IMAGINATION.

WE DREAM ABOUT A WORLD OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND INTERDEPENDENCE.
INANIMATE MATERIA IS INSTALLED AT A PROFOUND LEVEL OF THE HUMAN.
IN THE END, WE ARE ONE.

WRITTEN IN COLLABORATION WITH PETRA GOGNA

The mind behind this project is the artist Gaia Lazzaro, a computational designer that had previously worked at Iris Van Herpen Atelier.

After her latest studies in Biomimicry, she decided to launch her project with the collaboration of the visual artist Roxy Ceron who takes care of the visual imagery and the collaborations. Together they became a creative and artistic duo. This continuous contamination between these two artists manifests itself through the creation of fluid imaginaries, which have materialized through the creation of wearable provocative statements.

Today Hyperobjects is a Milanese reality that is spreading its vision through the contamination of multidisciplinary artists and the organization of public events, made to sensibilize their public to post-anthropocentric topics.
